SetPoint Consultants is a national recruiting firm specializing in the Real Estate, Financial Services, Banking, and Legal industries. We are currently partnering with a respected client in the Culver City, California area seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Financial Analyst to join their growing finance and accounting team.
Schedule: Hybrid (2 days in-office, 3 days remote)
$110,000 - $120,000 Base Salary | Temp-to-Hire
Position Overview
The Senior Corporate Financial Analyst will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and business analysis. This individual will work closely with executive leadership and operational teams to provide meaningful financial insights, develop forecasting models, and support strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, highly proficient in Excel, and comfortable presenting financial results to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process
- Prepare variance analyses and financial reports for executive leadership
- Design and maintain complex financial models for forecasting and planning
- Analyze business unit performance and provide actionable recommendations
- Conduct financial reviews and identify opportunities for operational improvement
- Prepare routine and ad hoc financial reporting
- Audit, organize, and analyze large datasets
- Present financial findings and recommendations to senior management
- Support financial controls and ensure GAAP compliance
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Senior Financial Analysis experience within a mid-to-large corporate environment
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and GAAP accounting
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Complex formulas and data analysis
- Strong Microsoft Access skills preferred
- Experience developing financial models and business reporting tools
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field strongly preferred
- Experience with Planful software is highly desired
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation skills
