Human Resources Generalist (Contract-to-Hire)
Location: Culver City, CA (Hybrid)
Salary Range: $32.00 – $34.00 per hour
Schedule: Hybrid – 1 day in the office, 1–2 days travel to client facilities (within Culver City/Southern California)
SetPoint Consultants is a national recruitment firm specializing in the Title, Mortgage, Legal, Banking, Finance, and Customer Service industries. We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist for our client, a fast-paced commercial services company based in Culver City, CA.
This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with immediate availability.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the HR Director, the Human Resources Generalist will play a key support role focusing on:

Employee relations and investigations

Onboarding and compliance
-
Policy adherence and HR support
You will travel locally (Southern California) to client sites 1–2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct and document employee relations investigations
-
Support new hire onboarding and orientation processes

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., FLSA, FMLA)

Support the administration of employee benefits and respond to related inquiries

Collaborate with the HR Director and field teams to maintain a productive work environment

Maintain up-to-date employee records and documentation
Qualifications:
-
BS/BA degree preferred
-
2–4 years of HR experience required

Experience in construction or manufacturing environments is a plus

Strong verbal and written communication skills

High level of computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Office

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

Flexibility and adaptability to shifting priorities

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow direction

Solid job tenure with professional references
