We are currently recruiting for a Senior Software Developer for a global company. The candidate can be located anywhere in the US but our client prefers someone on the West Coast. This is a long-term contract but could lead to a permanent role depending on performance. We are unable to provide sponsorship or C2C candidates at this time.
Pay for the role is $55.00-$60.00/hr and our client is currently interviewing.
Job Description
Fully remote senior full stack developer position with potential for conversion to a permanent employee. The application you'll support is in the mid/late greenfield build stage where we are building out tons of new features with a preference towards hosting in AWS. There is an extensive product roadmap of planned work for at least the next 2 years.
The candidate will participate in the design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and maintenance of software code for business applications. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end software solution implementation (front end, middle tier, & back end). The candidate will work with business SMEs & product management to understand the problem and formulate a high-level solution. The candidate will engage with the technical and InfoSec SMEs as appropriate to vet the solution.
The candidate will implement an end-to-end solution and test and deliver software on time. The candidate will set accurate expectations on delivery with product and management, proactively raising risks before they become blockers. The candidate needs experience leading a team of engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of software code for business applications.
The candidate performs maintenance, installations, upgrades, and other technical duties associated with the support of product applications platforms and/or product systems platforms.
Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify internal business systems.
The candidate must be competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of application programming activities and be a seasoned, experienced professional with full knowledge of industry practices and established policies and procedures.
The candidate will Troubleshoot a wide variety of complex problems and identifies solutions within broad applications and functional expertise and regularly provide input to define and implement conceptual issues. Candidate must be highly independent, and work under general direction.
The candidate will possibly mentor and advise less experienced team members, monitoring project status.

-Experience with single-spa, SIgnalR, and AWS are all beneficial.
-The application uses a micro front-end architecture and on the back end using a mix of SQL, and AWS DynamoDB today.
-Experience with Terraform and AWS CDK is helpful.
-Expertise in the following tools- Visual Studio & VS Code, SQL Server Management Studio, AWS Console, Postman, ADO, & Git.
