We are currently looking for an experienced Bookkeeper for a wonderful, growing Real Estate Services company in Pittsburgh. Our client offers a wonderful team-oriented working environment.
Pay for the position will depend on experience $20+/hr
Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant Job Details:
The position will be bookkeeping for the Real Estate Closing Services Department of a busy Title Insurance company. The candidate will be asked to perform all aspects of the bookkeeping role that will include accounts payable; accounts receivable; account reconciliation and running reports and maintaining spreadsheets and files.
The bookkeeper will perform a variety of routine and non-routine bookkeeping tasks including research and analysis to resolve problems. The candidate will responsible to report to the manager and client on a routine basis.
Some of their duties may include preparing posts and reconciling statements for invoices, posting voided checks, post final adjustments, and posting miscellaneous charges.
Candidates must have familiarity with QuickBooks and MS Office and ideally ResWare.
The candidate will also need to pass a background screen.
Candidates who have worked in this role in a title company, mortgage company, or real estate law firm will be given priority consideration.

3+ years of Accounts Payable/AP/Bookkeeping experience
College Degree preferred
Good computer skills including experience with QuickBooks and ideally Resware or Rhinolive
Good data entry and typing skills
Ability to communicate effectively in a professional setting including written and verbal
Superior customer service skills
Ability to pass a criminal background
