SetPoint Consultants is a national recruitment firm specializing in the Real Estate, Banking, Information Technology, and Financial industries. We have a growing company in the Ft Lauderdalebuilde area that is looking to hire a Staff Accountant/Financial Manager for their operations on a long-term contract role.
Salary Range- $50.00-$75.00/hr
Corporate Staff Accountant:
- Responsible for all aspects of the general ledger close.
- Prepares standard monthly journal entries.
- Manage cash flow and cash flow reporting and projections
- Prepare statistical reports as needed.
- Oversee Payroll and Benefits
- Have working knowledge of financial statements (Income, Balance Sheet, Cash Flows).
- Ability to oversee accounts receivable and payable
- Complete audits and financial compliance activities as instructed
- experience leading meetings with senior management
Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, experience working for a large public accounting firm or Fortune 500 company plus 3-5 Years experience in this role is required.

3-5 years experience working as a Staff Accountant
Superior customer service skills
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
CPA license preferred
Experience working with a large public accounting firm or Fortune 500 company is preferred
Computer skills mandatory- Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and familiarity with Peachtree and QuickBooks
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to instruct and manage other employees
