Our client, a growing national title company, is looking to hire an experienced Commercial Title Reader to join their team. The candidate can work in the office or can work remotely. The position is permanent upon hire. Salary is negotiable but should be in the $75,000-$100,000 range. Our client is willing to pay top dollar for the best talent!
Commercial Title Reader:
We are seeking a title insurance professional that possesses the customer service skills and title reading experience to help grow its production department. Order entry, reading and preparation of title binders, file scanning, and policy typing are part of the job duties. Successful candidates must possess excellent typing and communication skills and must be familiar with all aspects of commercial title work.
Job Details of Commercial Title Reader:
Order surveys and municipal searches
Read searches and produce title reports (Residential and Commercial)
Prepare foreclosure certificates (Residential and Commercial)
Prepare zoning lot exhibits
Read surveys, write legal descriptions, and clear title exceptions
Conduct searches for NYC properties using ACRIS
Proofread title reports
Produce last owner searches, lien searches, and co-op searches
Answer client questions

High School Diploma or equivalent
4 plus years of NY Title Reading experience.
Strong typing and computer skills.
Strong communication skills
The candidate must be well organized and detail-oriented.
Superior customer service skills.
Ability to multi-task and handle stress in a positive and professional manner.
