We have a growing firm in the Tampa market that is looking for an experienced Real Estate Transaction Legal Assistant for their growing operations. Below is a brief job description. Our client is currently interviewing and this is an immediate need.
Salary Range- $45,000/yr.-$55,000/yr Position is PERMANENT. Candidates that have commercial experience will be given priority consideration.
Real Estate Paralegal Job Duties.
Prepare refinance and purchase title commitments (binders).
Process files for closing-order payoffs and verifies tax and assessment information
Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, real estate agents and other industry related individuals to coordinate the preparation of closing paperwork.
Clear any title issues and ensure all supporting documentation is accounted for and entered in system
Prepare HUD-1 (Settlement Statement) and other related settlement documents including CD's in compliance with loan instructions and contract requirements.
Prepare final owner and lender title policies.
Residential and/or Commercial experience working with a law firm is required.

Have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Title Closer or Real Estate Paralegal
Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Must be detailed oriented and able to multi-task.
Candidate must be pro-active and results oriented.
Superior communication skills both written and verbal.
Good computer skills including MS Office and industry specific software
Ability to pass background check
